Hi, I'm Mic.
Building IT organizations the business can count on.
Former Director of Technology at Datasite, leading cloud infrastructure, security, identity and enterprise technology for the virtual data room behind global M&A.

A little about me
My introduction to technology started early. My father earned his PhD in computer science, and by seven I was sitting in the back of his college lectures.
More than 35 years later, I'm still most comfortable solving hard problems, building strong teams and making technology work reliably for the people who depend on it. At Datasite, that meant owning technology operations, the budget behind them and the team that ran them, so the business could plan around IT instead of working around it.
Culture is the operating system, and everything else is an application running on top of it.
A few things I've worked on
Cut from governed cloud and technology spend at Datasite between 2022 and 2026, with a monthly cloud P&L the executive team planned its budgets around.
About 980 people brought into Datasite with an identity-first playbook that was still the company standard in October 2026.
A manual invoice-adjustment spreadsheet replaced by an automation on the governed AI platform I built after finding shadow AI spreading through the business.
Eighteen employees and eight contractors, grown from a team of ten in 2022, with no one lost to the market.
